Bangli, October 24, 2025 — The English Language Education Student Association (HMJ) of the Faculty of Dharma Acara officially held its annual event entitled “The Sixth English Language Education Department Gathering Moment (ELEGANT) 2025” at Baliwoso, Bangli.

The event began with welcoming remarks from the Committee Chair, I Wayan Diontara, the Head of the English Language Education Student Association, Ni Kadek Yoni Mayani Putri, and the Head of the English Language Education Department, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Wijaya Mahardika, M.Pd.

The warm and family-like atmosphere was highlighted by the official opening of the event by the Vice Dean I, Dr. Dra. Ni Nyoman Perni, M.Pd. The opening ceremony was symbolized by the release of birds and the harmonious sound of angklung music, representing freedom, Tri Hita Karana, harmony, and the spirit of togetherness among all participants and committee members.

Following the opening ceremony, the event continued with a friendly gathering and outbound activities involving students, lecturers, and organizing committees. In her speech, the Head of the Student Association emphasized that Elegant is an annual agenda designed to strengthen a sense of kinship, foster solidarity, and build positive collaboration among students as well as between students and lecturers within the department.

Meanwhile, the Head of the English Language Education Department expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of both the committee and participants in sustaining the Elegant tradition as a platform for shaping students’ collaborative, creative, and adaptive character.

The two-day event aims to strengthen social bonds, enhance communication skills, and foster pride and love for the department. The first day concluded with a student performance night (Pensi).
