English Language Education Lecturer of UHN Sugriwa Becomes Invited Speaker with Innovative Augmented Reality Research at APSPBI International Conference 2025

Sanur – Another proud contribution was made by Ida Bagus Gde Phalaguna, M.Pd., lecturer of the English Language Education Department, Faculty of Dharma Acarya, I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University of Denpasar. He appeared as an invited speaker at the APSPBI International Conference & Annual Business Meeting (ABM) 2025, held on 26–27 September 2025 at Sanur Resort Watujimbar, Bali.

In his presentation, he delivered a topic entitled:

“Developing Augmented Reality Flashcards to Enhance Vocabulary Acquisition among Young Learners.”

The material highlighted the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in developing vocabulary learning media for children. AR flashcards equipped with annotations have been proven to be effective, engaging, and practical in improving vocabulary mastery among young learners.

This research not only offers innovative teaching media that align with the needs of the digital generation but also opens new opportunities for English teachers to implement more creative, engaging, and impactful teaching strategies.

The presence of Ida Bagus Gde Phalaguna, M.Pd. as an invited speaker further affirms UHN Sugriwa’s position in international academic discourse, particularly in the field of technological innovation in English language education.
