English Education Students Join Enumerator Training for Balanced Reading Literacy 2025
Denpasar, November 7, 2025 — Six students from the English Education Department, Faculty of Dharma Acarya, Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar, participated in an enumerator training program as part of a research collaboration between the English Education Study Program (PBI) and the Yayasan Literasi Anak Indonesia (Children’s Literacy Foundation). This program aims to prepare students to take part in a research project themed Balanced Reading Literacy 2025.
The training, held at the UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa campus, was designed to equip students with fundamental research competencies. Participants received guidance on the research objectives, fieldwork procedures, data collection techniques, and the use of research instruments. They also learned about data display techniques to help present and analyze research findings effectively.
As part of the research, the enumerators will be deployed to several selected elementary schools in Badung Regency to assist in collecting data related to balanced reading literacy practices.
Through this activity, students gained hands-on experience in educational research while also strengthening collaboration between the university and external partners in efforts to enhance children’s literacy in Bali.
