English Language Education Lecturer of UHN Sugriwa Becomes Invited Speaker at APSPBI International Conference 2025
Sanur – A moment of pride for I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University of Denpasar as Made Wahyu Mahendra, M.Pd., lecturer of the English Language Education Department, Faculty of Dharma Acarya, was invited as a speaker at the APSPBI International Conference & Annual Business Meeting (ABM) 2025. The event took place at Sanur Resort Watujimbar, Bali, on 26–27 September 2025.
Currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, Made Wahyu Mahendra, M.Pd. delivered a talk titled:
“Navigating Microlearning in the Decline for Attention in Modern Education.”
His presentation highlighted the pressing issue of declining attention spans in modern education and proposed microlearning as an innovative strategy to address this challenge. The concept was seen as highly relevant in supporting professional English teachers across Indonesia in designing shorter, adaptive, and impactful learning experiences for today’s generation.
The presence of an English Language Education lecturer from UHN Sugriwa as an invited speaker at this international forum not only demonstrates strong academic capacity but also reinforces the university’s contribution to advancing the transformation of English language education at both the national and global levels.
